In a recent op-ed in Foreign Affairs, Pallas Advisors Board Member Sue Gordon, along with Captain (Ret.) Eric Rosenbach, lay out their recommendations to fix American cyber strategy.
Based on their review of past cybersecurity threats, the authors analyze flaws of previous cyberstrategy, such as passivity, inconsistency, and leaks, to form recommendations for the Biden administration.
They provide seven focus areas, including increased public-private partnerships and military adaptability, centered on the assertion that America can better deter cyberattacks through conventional military and economic power than through improved cyber capabilities.
