Washington, DC — Pallas Advisors is pleased to announce that Rear Adm. (Ret.) Fred Pyle is joining the firm as a Principal, following his career in the United States Navy. Pyle brings a wealth of experience in maritime operations, surface warfare strategy, and budgetary planning to the firm. He most recently served as Director of Surface Warfare (OPNAV N96), where he oversaw critical advancements in fleet modernization and operational readiness.
Pyle is widely regarded as a straightforward, results-driven officer who has deep operational experience. He has commanded at multiple levels, including serving as Commodore of Destroyer Squadron 2 and Commander of Carrier Strike Group Three. His career includes numerous deployments across the European, Central, and Pacific theaters, where he played a key role in strategic initiatives and joint force integration.

Pyle holds degrees from Pennsylvania State University, the Naval Postgraduate School, and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. His decorations include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal, among others.
