Washington, DC — Pallas Advisors is delighted to announce that Major General (Ret.) Jeannie Leavitt is joining our team as a Principal. With a distinguished career spanning three decades in defense and aerospace, Leavitt brings considerable experience and leadership to our firm. She most recently served as the Chief of Safety of the Air Force and Space Force. Leavitt has commanded at various levels to include squadron, wing, and center level, and as Director of Recruiting for the Air Force and Space Force.
Leavitt’s career is distinguished by numerous groundbreaking achievements, including being the Air Force's first female fighter pilot and the first woman to lead the 57th Wing at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. From her initial ambitions in aerospace engineering to challenging policies that restricted women from combat-coded fighter aircraft roles, Leavitt’s unwavering determination was evident throughout her military career.
“We are thrilled to welcome Maj. Gen. Jeannie Leavitt to Pallas Advisors as a Principal,” said Sally Donnelly, Founding Partner at Pallas Advisors. “Her pioneering role as a trailblazer for women in uniform aligns perfectly with our commitment to nurturing the next generation of national security leaders. Leavitt's exceptional leadership and commitment to innovation will be invaluable as we continue to provide insights and solutions to our clients.”
“Embracing innovation is essential for a strong national security ecosystem. I am honored to join the Pallas Advisors team and look forward to contributing to its mission of transitioning innovative technologies into the hands of the warfighter faster, and guiding future leaders,” said Jeannie Leavitt.
