Washington, DC — Pallas Advisors is pleased to announce that LTG (Ret.) Jon Jensen will be joining the firm as a Principal following his distinguished career within the Army National Guard. Jon most recently served as the Director of the Army National Guard and Acting Vice Chief of the National Guard Bureau, where he utilized his wide range of experience in homeland security, disaster response, and strategic planning.

As director of the Army National Guard, Jon was responsible for more than 335,000 Citizen-Soldiers and oversaw all programs and policies that affected the Army National Guard.

Previously, he served as the 31st adjutant general of Minnesota under two governors and, earlier, as the commanding general of the Minnesota National Guard’s 34th Infantry Division. He was also dual-hatted as the deputy commander and Army Reserve component integration adviser for U.S. Army Africa and the Southern European Task Force under U.S. Africa Command. He has commanded at the company, battalion, brigade, and division levels. His operational assignments include Operations Desert Spring, Joint Forge, and Iraqi Freedom.

“Jon is someone I have known for decades and his understanding of the national security ecosystem and his ability to navigate complex challenges in homeland security and disaster response will be a force multiplier for the Pallas family,” said Tony DeMartino, a founding partner of Pallas. “His common sense, hands-on approach will be invaluable to our clients.”

“I'm excited to be joining Pallas, where the focus is on driving real change in national security by connecting emerging technologies with the key players in the defense landscape,” said Jon.
