Halimah Najieb-Locke, Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Resilience, Joins Pallas Advisors


Washington, DC — Pallas Advisors is pleased to announce that Halimah Najieb-Locke will be joining the firm as a Principal following her distinguished career within the Department of Defense and the House of Representatives staff. Halimah most recently served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Industrial Base Resilience where she led the drafting and publishing of the DoD’s first-ever National Security Industrial Strategy which will guide the Department’s engagement, policy development and investment in the industrial base over the next 3-5 years.


Previously, she served as a Senior Advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense on all things related to innovation and the industrial base. Ms. Najieb-Locke is known for advancing the focus on key technologies, including hypersonics and microelectronics, both of which are vital to the future of defense tech.


Ms. Najieb-Locke also held positions within the House of Representatives, serving as the Senior Procurement Counsel for the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis, Counsel for the House Armed Services Committee, and a senior Professional Staff Member for the House Small Business Committee.
