Former Pentagon Chief Data Officer, David Spirk, Joins Pallas Advisors

Washington, DC - Pallas Advisors is delighted to welcome David Spirk as a Senior Advisor. Previously, David served as the overall inaugural Chief Data Officer (CDO) in the Department of Defense. In that position, he was responsible for Department-wide data strategy and management, implementation, and elevating data acumen across the DoD workforce. David will add to Pallas’ ongoing work at the nexus of emerging technology and national security.


Throughout his career, David has envisioned and executed strategic enterprise initiatives to leverage data and information for United States security objectives. Prior to assuming the Department of Defense Chief Data Officer role, he served as the U.S. Special Operations Command’s (USSOCOM) CDO. During his time there, he established the USSOCOM Data Engineering lab, a collaborative innovation hub designed to foster sharing of best data practices across government, industry, and academia to bring cutting-edge solutions to special operations forces.
