The Mission

The Mission

The Pallas Foundation aims to foster the education and professional development of emerging leaders with an emphasis on underrepresented groups in global and national security.

By creating programs that engage young professionals, universities, government agencies, and leaders in national security, we will continue to help our targeted audience navigate this unique and complex field.

Our Programs

Our Programs

Mullen Scholarship Initiative

Pallas Foundation is proud to partner with the 17th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen, USN (Ret), providing scholarships and mentoring support to students from underrepresented groups pursuing careers in national security.

In its first year, the Foundation has donated nearly $100,000 to our partner institutions: Anne Arundel Community College, Morgan State University, and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

National Security Innovation Forum

As a convening authority, Pallas Foundation utilizes its unique position to bring together private sector, US government, Academia, Media, and partners and allies, to explore important topics related to national security.

Among the many events we host, such as dinners, roundtables, Fireside Chats, and more, the Foundation hosted the inaugural National Security Innovation Forum (NSIF) last year, which featured the first public speech by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Charles Q. Brown Jr.

Fellowship Program

Pallas Foundation conducts a paid fellowship program for emerging leaders from under-represented groups to gain valuable hands-on experience in national security. Post fellowship, the program offers career guidance, networking opportunities, and job placement support.

Mentorship Program

The Pallas Mentorship Program connects emerging leaders in the national security and policymaking communities with experienced mentors from the expansive Pallas network, offering career advice and professional development sessions. Mentors have expertise that spans the national security ecosystem, with backgrounds in the Department of Defense, the Hill, the National Security Council, and various others.
